Barbara helps people from all walks of life, beginning with developing coping skills for day-to-day struggles as anxiety, depression, emotional instability, and post-traumatic stress, and then proceeding to address the underlying issues contributing to their struggles.
Barbara uses a variety of modalities and theories in her work with clients, including Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, Attachment Theory, and Constructed Awareness (a mindfulness-based trauma treatment technique). She melds her diverse training to help people connect the dots between their current concerns and the formative experiences that may have caused them to develop. Then, by exploring and reprocessing those experiences, she strives to help them receive true healing and enjoy newfound freedom.
